Nurtura Daily FAQ: Tracking, Sharing, Privacy & Pro

Answers to common Nurtura Daily questions: what you can track, sharing with a partner, using it offline or for more than one child, privacy, and Nurtura Pro.

Can Nurtura tell me if something is wrong with my baby?

No. Nurtura is a tracking tool, not a medical device, and it doesn't diagnose or give medical advice. It records what you log, so you have a clear history to share. If you're worried about your baby's feeding, sleep, temperature or anything else, contact your paediatrician or doctor. In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Can I share my baby's records with a doctor?

Yes, as a PDF. From the day view, tap export to share today's entries, which is free. With Pro you can also pick a ready-made report (feeding, sleep, diapers, growth, or everything) or choose your own dates and categories. You review the PDF before sharing. The health chart keeps temperatures, doses and doctor visits together, so you have something to show at an appointment.

Which languages does Nurtura support?

23 languages: English, Chinese (Traditional), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Lithuanian, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese (Brazil), Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish, Ukrainian and Vietnamese. That covers every screen, widget and watch face.

Does Nurtura work on my watch, tablet or home screen?

Yes. Nurtura Daily is on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets, Apple Watch and Wear OS. Watch: start and stop a feed, nap or pumping timer, log a diaper in two taps, and see the last feed on a watch face complication. Widgets: log a feed or check the last nap from your home screen. Live Activities (iPhone): a running timer stays on your Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.

How do I restore or cancel Nurtura Pro?

If you've subscribed before, for example on a new phone, go to Settings → Restore purchase and sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with. To cancel, tap Manage subscription in Settings, or go to your App Store or Google Play subscriptions. Pro stays on until the end of the period you've paid for.

What is Nurtura Daily best for?

Everyday tracking, from the newborn weeks onward. It suits parents who want to log feeds, sleep and diapers in seconds and read them back clearly. The week view shows what's changing, and with Pro you also get the next likely nap, feed or diaper window. It's made for quick daily use, not deep data entry.

Is Nurtura Daily free, and what does Pro add?

Nurtura Daily is free to download. Free lets you log everything and see today and the current week. Nurtura Pro is a monthly subscription. The price in your currency is shown in the app before you subscribe, along with a free trial if one is offered to you. Pro adds: Sync and backup of your entries across devices Sharing with a partner or caregiver More than one child Your full history , including past days and previous weeks Predicted windows for the next likely sleep, feed and diaper Full explanations of leaps, sleep regressions and growth spurts PDF reports for any date range Cancel anytime in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions.

Where is my data stored, and can I delete it?

Your entries are stored on your phone. Your account, child profiles and settings are also kept in the cloud (Google Firebase) so you can sign back in. With Nurtura Pro , your entries are backed up there too and synced between your devices. We collect usage statistics and crash reports to improve the app. For details, see our Privacy Policy. On the free version, entries exist only on this phone. Logging out or deleting the app removes them for good. To delete everything, go to Settings → Delete my account . This permanently erases your account and your children's data, and it can't be undone. It doesn't cancel a subscription. Do that in your App Store or Google Play settings.

What are developmental leaps and why does Nurtura show them?

Developmental leaps are short periods, described in infant research, when many babies become fussier or clingier for a few days before new skills show up. Nurtura shows when a leap window may be coming up for your baby's age. If you add a due date, the timing follows your baby's due date rather than their birth date. With Pro , you can open each leap to see what you might notice and some supportive tips. The timing is approximate and every baby is different. If you're worried about your baby, talk to your paediatrician.

Can I share my baby's data with my partner or other caregivers?

Yes, with Nurtura Pro . Open your child's Settings → Access → Add access and show the QR code, or tap Share link and send it. When the other person opens it, the child appears in their app. You both see and log the same entries, and they sync between phones. Only the person who created the child profile needs Pro. Caregivers don't pay. You can invite more than one person, and you can revoke access at any time. If the owner's Pro ends, shared caregivers lose access until it's renewed.

Does Nurtura work offline?

Yes. Everything is saved on your phone first, so you can log feeds, sleep and diapers with no signal. With Nurtura Pro , entries you log offline sync to your other devices and caregivers once you're back online. On the free version, entries stay on this phone only.

Can I use Nurtura with more than one child?

Yes. The free version includes one child profile. With Nurtura Pro you can add more, and each child keeps separate entries, history and insights. A child someone else shares with you doesn't count toward your limit.

What can I track with Nurtura?

Feeding: breastfeeding with a nursing timer, bottles (breast milk, formula or both), pumping and solid food Milk stash: pumped milk from fridge to freezer Sleep: naps and nights, by timer or added afterwards Diapers: wet, dirty or both Growth: weight and height on growth charts, plus teeth Health: temperature, symptoms, medicine, vaccinations and doctor visits Activities: tummy time, walks, baths, reading, play, and day notes Milestones as your baby reaches them Nurtura also shows developmental leaps and sleep regressions for your baby's age.

How is Nurtura different from other baby tracking apps?

A feed, nap or diaper takes a couple of taps, including from a widget or your watch. Age-based insights. Developmental leaps, sleep regressions and milestones for your baby's age, with full explanations in Pro. Works offline. Your data is on your phone first. Shared with Pro. Sync across devices and share with a partner or caregiver, so everyone sees the same day.
