Unitaantuma selitettynä: iät, merkit ja mikä auttaa
Mikä unitaantuma on, missä iässä vanhemmat yleisimmin huomaavat niitä, mitä niiden taustalla on ja rauhalliset, turvalliset keinot, joilla katkonaisista öistä selviää.
At what ages do sleep regressions happen?
Parents commonly report them around 4 months, 8–10 months, 12 months, 18 months and 2 years. These are approximate and not every baby has every one.
How long does a sleep regression last?
There's no official answer and it varies between babies. Many families find it settles within a few weeks. If broken sleep goes on much longer or your baby seems unwell, check in with your health visitor or doctor.
Is a sleep regression the same as a developmental leap?
Not exactly. Some parents follow a leap model based on research by Hetty van de Rijt and Frans Plooij on infant regression periods and notice sleep changes around those times, but it's a framework some families find useful, not a medical fact.
