ISOFIX or seat belt: which is safer?
Both are safe when installed correctly. Use the method your manuals allow and that gives you the tightest install in your car.
Center or outboard position?
Use a rear seat position allowed by your vehicle manual. ISOFIX is often outboard only, so if you want center, confirm your car supports it.
How tight is tight enough?
At the belt path, the base/seat should have minimal side-to-side movement when pulled firmly.
Do I use LATCH/ISOFIX and the seat belt together?
Usually no. Follow your manuals — many seats require choosing one method.
Can my baby wear a puffy coat in the seat?
No. Use slim layers and add a blanket over the harness after buckling.
Can I use the seat on a plane?
Only if your seat is approved for aircraft and the airline allows it. Install per manual using the aircraft seat belt.
