Doğum sonrası iyileşme listesi
Doğum sonrası iyileşme listesi: ilk haftalar için. Doğum şekline, beslenmeye ve mevsime göre filtrele: ped, ağrı kesici, yara bakımı, giyim ve kontroller.
What do I actually need for postpartum recovery?
Start with maternity pads, mesh/large underwear, peri bottle (vaginal), basic pain relief per provider, cooling/ice packs, comfortable clothes, and a water bottle. Add breastfeeding care (nipple cream, pads) if nursing.
What’s different for C-section recovery?
You’ll focus on wound care (gently clean and dry it daily), loose high-waist clothing, and not carrying anything heavier than your baby for about 6 weeks (NHS). Contact your provider if the wound gets more red, painful or swollen, leaks, or you develop a fever.
Can I use a sitz bath or sprays after vaginal birth?
Often yes, if your provider approves. Perineal care (peri bottle, gentle cleansing) usually helps. Skip fragranced products and follow medical guidance.
How do pain meds affect breastfeeding?
Use only what your provider recommends. Many common meds are compatible with breastfeeding, but dosing and timing matter. When unsure, ask your provider or a lactation consultant.
When can I start walking or light activity?
Light walking is typically encouraged early if you feel up to it. Avoid strenuous exercise and lifting until cleared at your follow-up.
What are red flags to call a provider about?
Get help straight away for very heavy bleeding (soaking one or more pads in an hour, or clots bigger than an egg), a fever of 38 °C / 100.4 °F or higher, severe or worsening pain, foul-smelling discharge, a red, swollen or leaking incision, chest pain, shortness of breath, pain or swelling in one leg, or a severe headache.
