10 Month Old Baby: Standing, Meals & Sleep
A 10 month old guide on pulling up and cruising, gestures and words, three meals plus milk, bottle to cup, and sleep. Educational, not medical advice.
How much should a 10 month old sleep?
The AAP recommends 12–16 hours in 24 hours, including naps, for babies 4–12 months. Separation anxiety, which usually peaks between 10 and 18 months, can make bedtime harder for a while.
When do babies start cruising?
Cruising usually follows pulling up to stand. The CDC lists walking while holding on to furniture among the skills most babies have by 1 year, and timing varies between babies.
How many meals should a 10 month old eat?
The NHS describes three meals a day alongside milk feeds between 10 and 12 months, and says babies under 12 months don't need snacks — offer an extra milk feed instead. WHO suggests 3–4 meals a day from 9 months.
Why is my 10 month old suddenly clingy?
Separation anxiety usually peaks between 10 and 18 months, according to the AAP. It comes from your baby now knowing that you're somewhere else when you leave. Calm, brief goodbyes and coming back when you say you will can help.
When should my baby see a dentist?
The AAP suggests a first dental visit within 6 months of the first tooth coming through, and no later than 12 months of age.
What should I track at 10 months?
Meals, milk feeds, sleep, and new skills like cruising or first gestures. Nurtura Daily keeps them together, and with Pro, everyone who cares for your baby can log to the same place.
