バンで過ごす1日:生後7か月の赤ちゃんとの旅のリアル | Nurtura Daily
生後7か月の赤ちゃんとのバンライフは、Instagramで見るものとは違います。リアルで、散らかっていて、笑えて、ちゃんとできる。昼寝と短いドライブを軸にした、私たちの旅の1日を紹介します。
Is vanlife possible with a baby?
Yes — but it looks very different from social media. For us, short drives (50–100 km), predictable naps, and a flexible routine make travel realistic and enjoyable. Vanlife with a baby is less about spontaneity and more about rhythm and preparation.
How do you manage naps while traveling in a campervan?
Our daughter sleeps only in her bed, not the stroller or car seat, so we plan drives between naps and park early. Short, predictable moves make naps smoother for her.
Can a baby sleep in the car seat while you drive?
The Lullaby Trust says it's fine for a baby to doze during a journey, but car seats aren't designed for long sleeps: take regular breaks on longer drives, and move your baby to a firm, flat sleep surface once you arrive.
What do babies eat while living on the road?
Ours has breast or bottle feeds every 2–2.5 hours plus small portions of solids. We log everything in Nurtura — wake windows, feeds, solids — to keep a clear structure, especially on travel days when routines shift.
How do you choose safe and legal places to sleep in a van with a baby?
Finding overnight spots is one of the hardest parts. We usually arrive before sunset, look for quiet flat areas, avoid isolated roads, and stay compliant with local overnight rules.
How do you plan your day when doing vanlife with a 7-month-old?
We plan everything around her sleep: early morning reset, breakfast, first nap/work block, a short drive (50–100 km), lunch and exploring, second nap, then early bedtime. This structure keeps travel days calmer for all three of us.
