Is there a growth spurt at 17 weeks?

Many guides mention a hungry patch around 3 months, but research has not found that growth spurts arrive on fixed dates. A fussy, hungry few days around 4 months is common.

Can teething start before 4 months?

Yes. The NHS says most babies start teething around 6 months, but some start before 4 months. A temperature of 38°C or higher is not a teething symptom.

How do I keep a baby comfortable in a heatwave?

The NHS suggests keeping the sleep room at about 16–20°C where possible, and checking your baby's chest or the back of their neck to see if they are too hot.
